How to add your signature to Gmail
Menus can shift between app versions, but the flow stays simple.
Open settings
In Gmail, select Settings → See all settings → General.
Paste and test
Scroll to Signature, choose Create new and paste your signature. Set signature defaults, scroll down and save your changes.
Compatibility tips
Make it reliable, not just attractive
- Test by sending a new email to yourself, not only by looking at Settings.
- If an image looks too large, set its size in the generator before copying.
- Gmail may proxy remote images; always use a stable HTTPS URL.
Always send a test
The settings editor is not the final word. Send to another address, open the message on mobile and desktop, and confirm that images, links and spacing survive the trip.
